Brought to you by Papaya Stories, Silent Disco Citywalk is an award-winning 60 or 90-min immersive, and energising audio walk for a group of 8-50 people. The experience inspires to get loose and transform the city into a playground by connecting to its public spaces, hidden gems, local people, arts, and stories.
You don't need to like dancing to enjoy the Silent Disco Citywalk! Just be yourself and take a walk on the wild side. The pre-recorded audio entertainment programme will lift you up, even if dancing isn't your thing. Put the wireless headphones on, enjoy a themed audio programme along with an interactive narrative that features site-specific information, affirmations, riddles, and cool tunes. Follow instructions, play games, and enjoy a pop-up performance that transforms ordinary places into extraordinary.

I wish we could do the silent disco every weekend. My favourite part was hugs. I got lots of hugs.

What Silent Disco CityWalk provides is a space for release, and an opportunity to reflect and simply enjoy the pleasure of being present in the moment. Sublime.
It was a very positive experience – we loved the energy and enthusiasm and enjoyed seeing some areas of Auckland we hadn’t been to before. Overall, 10 out of 10.
I feel good to be a child again where you aren’t concerned about who you are and what others think of you. Rather you are in the moment and this is the best part of your event.
We visited parts of Henderson which we had never known about previously and, yes, it was so much fun. We felt alive after dancing for what seemed to be a short time!
